OBI has been requested to teach, train, and serve the medical and mental wellness needs of adults, children and their families in Kenya, and Israel based on all our work in Ukraine, Moldova, Rwanda and many other countries around the world. This medical and mental wellness initiative and partnership with Mission of Hope International (MOHI) in Nairobi, Kenya, and Israel’s military, medical and church partnerships through Christ Church of the Valley, (CCV) is expanding.

Our team has now served in Kenya for three years. Our new initiative with Israel launched online last year and our first trip is planned for this year.
Based on our work with MOHI pastors, social workers, medical healthcare professionals, and teachers raising the standard of care has begun. We continue to serve those who provide K-12 education, medical treatment, clothing, optometry, and food to impoverished families in 35 communities serving over 25,000+ children. A special focus is families living in the world’s largest slum, Mathare Valley, and adjacent slums, where over 600,000 people live in three square miles of squalor.
“When anxiety was great within me, your consolation brought me joy." Psalm 94:19 (NIV) Depression and anxiety can be products of moral injury associated with trauma.

Approximately 70% of people worldwide deal with at least one traumatic event during their lifetime. Globally around 300 million people deal with an anxiety disorder, meaning it is a diagnosed disorder not just an anxious feeling during the day. In the places we serve internationally the presence of trauma is significantly higher. We are raising the level of care, awareness and ability to respond to great needs.
Olive Branch International is committed to teaching and training healthcare leaders to serve their civilian and military families with life-changing mental wellness techniques. The places we serve have limited resources and education on the topics of anxiety, depression, stress and trauma. People can make large strides in dealing with trauma, stress, anxiety, and PTSD when assisted by a trained professional.
Your generosity is critical for OBI to help children, families, military uniformed teams, and marks you as a difference-maker in the kingdom of God. The military and civilian families have such great needs, and your gift makes a huge difference in our capacity to bring healing, health and hope to those we serve.
Please consider a donation to OBI for this new and life-changing humanitarian project.
Designate: KENYA or ISRAEL.
Blessings,

P.S. Trauma is a significant global public health issue where we serve, and your gift is life changing.
