Many of you have given us Christmas gifts throughout the year through your encouragement, prayers, and financial support. We would need a giant Christmas tree to place them all, wrapped brightly, under the tree.
Some gifts gave hope to marginalized, impoverished families in Kenya, and many others hold boxes full of love and compassion for struggling families in Ukraine. Israel leaps for joy in the midst of war, opening the gift of faithful support for their families and communities. Rwanda, weary from years of rebuilding after a genocide, will get a little teary-eyed, finding faithfulness inside. Other gifts would be hidden under the tree for Brazil, South Sudan, and Uganda for the gift of seeing them through the eyes of Jesus for military families, children, first responders, and disenfranchised communities of people. There would be gifts for peace, kindness, civility, wellness, and wholeness.
Thank you for enabling us to spread your gifts across three continents. Please consider a special gift as the year ends so we can carry these gifts into the following year.
Happy Holidays and Merry Christmas.
